Palm Warbler

Palm Warbler

I really look forward to fall each year. Birds begin their annual migration to a warmer tropical winter climate.  Many species of wood warblers pass through the state during fall migration. These small, fast-moving birds are the ultimate challenge in bird photography.  I spent over 45 minutes on this bird as he darted in and out of my viewfinder chasing insects. Most of the time he was in deep vegetation, but occasionally he popped out, offering me a clean shot.
